Like the Calvin Klein aesthetic, even the brand’s cocktail parties are streamlined and elegant—the brand along with the Human Rights Campaign, co-hosted a chic soiree to celebrate the advocacy group’s two-year-old Americans for Marriage Equality program at its Madison Avenue flagship store last night, and many loyal celebrity CK fans stopped by to show their support. “Tonight they lured me upon the issue of marriage equality,” said Uma Thurman, who showed up with daughter Maya Thurman-Hawke. “To me, it’s an absolute no brainer. Hopefully, it will be alleviated soon and everyone will be allowed to marry and divorce equally!” Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka, Andy Cohen, Dan Stevens, and more swung through, grabbed a Champagne flute and a rainbow-hued macaron, and toasted to the cause with Calvin Klein’s creative directors, Francisco Costa (womenswear) and Italo Zucchelli (menswear). “The company has taken upon this cause, and it’s really important to us,” said Costa, shown above with Thurman. “It makes us feel proud.” Go pride!
