Today, America s favorite host is turning 39-years-old! We can t remember a day when Seacrest wasn t standing inside our television screens or speaking to us through the radio, but it all started in 2002 when he began hosting American Idol. Since then, he has become the sole host of the reality-singing competition, then added radio expert to his resume by hosting On Air with Ryan Seacrest in 2004, and soon followed in the late Dick Clark s footsteps by taking on Dick Clark s New Year s Rockin Eve With Ryan Seacrest. This year, the host along with Jenny McCarthy will be making the annual New Year s Eve show bigger than ever with live performances by Miley Cyrus, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Icona Pop, and even Blondie.
