Lea Salonga on Darren Espanto: He should have won ‘The Voice Kids’

MANILA, Philippines – Commenting on a video of The Voice Kids runner-up Darren Espanto and coach Sarah Geronimo performing the song “Bang Bang,” Lea Salonga said that Darren should have won the competition.

Many of Lea’s followers agreed with her observation, but some also expressed concern that The Voice Kids winner Lyca Gairanod might get hurt over Lea's comment.

Both Lyca and Darren were part of Team Sarah during the competition and recently performed at The Voice Kids Concert with the other two finalists Juan Karlo Labajo and Darlene Vibares.
